Privacy Policy

SaveReelsFast (savereelsfast.com) is a free tool for saving publicly available videos from popular social platforms. You do not need an account, and we never ask for your social media username or password. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the site, how long it is kept, and the choices you have.

Links you submit: when you paste a video link, it is sent to our server, and to a backend service that runs on our behalf, so we can look up the public video.

Technical data: like most websites, our hosting providers may automatically record your IP address, browser type, device type and the time of each request for security, abuse prevention and reliability.

What we don't collect: we have no user accounts, we don't ask for your name or email to use the tool, and we don't build advertising profiles ourselves.

To make repeat requests fast and to protect the service from overload, the result of a link lookup (the link, the title, the thumbnail address and temporary download addresses) is kept in server memory for up to 90 minutes and is then discarded automatically. It is never written to a database.

No media is stored. Videos and audio are streamed from the original platform through our servers to your device in real time and are not saved on our systems, not even temporarily on disk.

Server logs kept by our hosting providers are retained according to their own retention periods. Data stored in your browser (see below) stays on your device.

We set one functional cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, to remember the language you choose. It contains no personal information and expires after one year.

Your browser's local and session storage holds a few convenience settings: your most recent results (cleared when you close the tab) and whether you dismissed the install banner or the sticky ad. This data never leaves your device, and you can clear it in your browser settings at any time.

We do not use analytics or tracking cookies of our own.

SaveReelsFast is free to use because it may show advertisements. Ads are delivered by third-party advertising networks (for example Google AdSense or similar networks). These networks may set or read cookies and use identifiers such as your IP address to show ads, limit how often you see them and measure results.

The links you paste are never shared with advertisers. Ad networks receive only what your browser sends when it loads an ad. Where the law requires your consent for non-essential advertising cookies (for example in the EU, EEA and UK), it will be requested before such cookies are used.

You can manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com or in your browser and device settings, and opt out of interest-based advertising at optout.aboutads.info (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU).

Videos are retrieved from the public servers of the platform they come from (for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok). We are not affiliated with these platforms, and their own privacy policies apply to their services.

Our site and backend service are hosted by third-party providers that process technical data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal information.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA or Brazil's LGPD) you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. We do not sell personal information.

Because we don't keep accounts or profiles, there is usually little data we can link to you. To make a request, contact us using the details on the Contact page and, if you can, include the approximate time of your visit. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

This service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Our providers may process data in the United States and in other countries. Where required by law, we rely on the appropriate safeguards those providers offer.

All traffic uses HTTPS and we keep data collection to a minimum. No system is perfectly secure, but not storing media or accounts limits what could ever be exposed.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
